NASHVILLE, Tenn.— The world’s largest tour (first quarter) for the third consecutive year, the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, concluded earlier this spring with one of its most significant milestones to date: more than 178,500 people responded to the Gospel during the 44-city outing.
Featured speaker Nick Hall, founder of the PULSE Movement, shared the Gospel message nightly from a satellite center stage in each arena. His compelling multimedia presentation challenged Winter Jam’s capacity crowds to “RESET” their lives with Jesus Christ. In addition, nearly 84,000 RESET books (Gospel of John) were distributed, while Hall’s PULSE Movement is providing ongoing support to those who made life-changing decisions during the tour.
“While many label this generation uninterested and unresponsive to Jesus, Winter Jam is a clear demonstration that the opposite is in fact reality,” shares Hall. “Each night, arenas were packed to capacity with electric crowds of families, teens and young adults. In the midst of rowdy teens, loud music, bustling concessions and cutting edge technology, you could hear a pin drop each night as I opened the Scripture to offer the supernatural RESET that Jesus offers our world today.”
“As the invitation for RESET was given, tens of thousands were set free from pain, addiction and self harm while simultaneously being welcomed into, and connected with, the family of God with text messaging response systems and on site prayer teams,” he continues. “I believe Winter Jam is a clear indication that God is bringing spiritual awakening to America in our day.”
With a vision to awaken culture to the reality of Jesus, Hall birthed the PULSE Movement in 2006 as a student at North Dakota State University. One of the fastest growing youth evangelistic movements in America today, PULSE encompasses student prayer gatherings, evangelism training, outreach events, and the PULSE RESET post-outreach follow-up process.
Emerging as a top Christian leader of this generation, Hall has served as Winter Jam’s featured speaker for the past two years and is a partner evangelist with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the Luis Palau Association through festivals and training events. He has emceed multiple BGEA “Rock the River Tour” events and was among 4,000 international delegates invited to attend The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2010.
Founded and hosted by GRAMMY®-nominated NewSong, the Winter Jam 2013 Tour Spectacular was headlined by GRAMMY®-winning, multi-platinum recording artist TobyMac. Leading Pollstar's 2013 Worldwide First Quarter Ticket Sales Charts - Top 100 Tours, Winter Jam attendance surpassed all other first quarter tours this year, with 42 sold-out shows in top arenas around the country.
